Convert Mental Ray and Adesk Materials to Standard Materials?

Does anyone have (or know of ) a script or plug-in to convert Mental Ray materials and AutoDesk Materials

to Standard Materials?

 

Any help appreciated.

The first thing I thougt of was this free script from Motiva, but then I realized it did not support mental ray to standard conversion. Not sure if you have vray, but you could try to convert the mental ray to vray, then try to convert the vray to standard.

I have a similar problem and I have searched but I haven't been able to find any script that converts back to standard. I was thinking of baking the materials.
