GUSN
Hi guys, Jumping off the current subject, I didn't want to start a new thread. Question#1 What is the easiest way to make reveals on a wall without having to clean up any geometry or is it just better to add a tile map to the texture to get the same effect. Please see reference picture. Please see Question#2 I I'm trying to create a terrain to apply a grass material. I converted to an editable poly but how can I subdivide an area to use the paint deformation tool to make it a bit uneven. I apologize with these questions but I'm self-teaching myself:) Thanks in advance.
BrianKitts
1. mapping would be easiest, unless it's viewed up close in which case you'd clean up the surface an model. 2. subdivide the mesh, either the entire mesh with a subdivide or quadify modifier, or select specific faces and tesselate the mesh 3. always start a new thread don't hijack someone elses. (unless the current conversation has concluded and you have a VERY similar topic to add) Edited April 20, 2011 by BrianKitts
