William Alexander
Hey, Mac has the power set of project oriented key stroke short cuts. Does anyone have a list of them? or better yet the keystroke .stc file that could be compatible with a windows install? FormZ is a really good program, but without the shortcuts I'd be better off with AutoCad. Really need to get up to speed with this app and any help would be terrific!!!! Thanks WDA
Crazy Homeless Guy
edit | key shortcuts | list shortcuts ...then it gives you the option to print the list, or do an interactive session where you punch the key, and it tells you what shorcut it belongs to. ...is this what you were asking? William Alexander
CHG, Already been there couple of times...... ...and that shows just the system based short cuts ie there are no short cuts like mac 0...9, -, for the views and so forth. Envolved in an online training beta, FormZ was a download and is keyed through a VPN. So I have no idea what printed materials exist and not ready to go out a buy a Mac at this time to actaully use FormZ the right way to gain some consistant cross platform experience. Any further suggestions?
Crazy Homeless Guy
...someone crated a list of custom shortcuts that you used in an online training course for formZ that was Mac based? ..and you want the same list of shortcuts for windows? maybe you could contact the person, and ask if they have a list for a set created for windows, or get a print out of the old, and setup your won custom set. i imagine the instructor of the course st these up. formZ only offers the default ones they have, they do not have a 'power set', at least that i have heard of. you can set up your own custom shortcuts easily. i had a set i made a few years ago that allowed me to switch views with the numbers, but decided i did not like them. now i use R for right, L for left, [ for top and ] for bottom. and the defzult ctrl+1 for 30-60. P puts me in persective A puts me in axo, ect.. ect...

William Alexander
Well thanks, really. Mac ships with the entire nut of shortcuts, I'm assuming but pretty sure. The instruction videos are about 3 hours long and very intensive. I'll have to slip into the lecture note taking mode and go through them, again. Can't contact directly the instructor, A Lindsey, because his e-mail is blocked on the online forums (don't blame him at all). There has not been much response on those boards either, mostly I think, because C4d was introduced first and many have not moved heavily into FormZ yet, if at all, (foolish people). It's all about getting to modeling rather looking for the unknowns and thanks for the input. I'll try to post something created with FormZ. If I can get to that point- or least some other dumb ass Newbee questions:rolleyes: . WDA
