gazbo
Hi all, I'm need to try and model a heliodon something along these lines but much larger: http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/archi/skydome.php I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the most efficient approach. I remember years ago using the e-light script which created a dome with an array of spotlights to fake global illumination that could have been useful for this. I think it's long since been abondoned though. Another thought was to create a geodome with a skylight outside that illuminates the interior and then just have a self illuminated material for the lamps? I realise this is a bit wooly, I suppose I'm just after inspiration, I have a tendency to dash into things and realise 90% of the way through that I could've done it a lot quicker another way. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
