Panorama with max and Mental Ray?

I would like to render som panoramas for a hotel firm that want to show their rooms on a website.

 

I wish to render the scene with Mental Ray. How do I render the scene in panorama-format?

Create a camera and keep it at the same height and rotate a bit and render. Then rotate more and re-render. Piece all the images together in Photoshop or whatever you use.

 

I've never done it myself, but seems logical.

Use the WarpAround Lens Shader.

 

BTW, MAX has a Panorama Generator, but it doesn't support mental ray. The Readme explains that MR is not supported, and tells you to use WarpAround.

I have done som experimenting and as far as I can see Mental Ray works perfectly together with the Panorama Exporter.
