dande
I have rendered out an animation. I would like to slow it down a little. The ideal answer is to go back into Max add more frames and re-render. I'm just wondering has anybody tried any other solutions. I tried remapped the speed in Premiere Pro but when I exported it out I found it a little jumpy. ihabkal
I did it by making the animation play at lower frame speed, I once made it play at 15 frames per second, wasn't smooth but didn't jitter or jump. you can gain some speed from 30 to 24 frames at no loss of smoothness. erickdt
You can use frame blending in AfterFX to smooth out jumpiness caused by slowing down footage. E
dande
Thanks. I'll have a play with it in After Effects
alias_marks
In after effects there's a couple native ways to do frame interpolation. Out of the bunch I've found pixel motion to work best. I've also seen a good example of twixtor doing a good job, if you have the budget - http://www.revisionfx.com/products/twixtor/
