erickdt
Hello All, I'm working on an an animation that features 9 different cameras. I've exported individual frames from MAX, done some color correction etc. in AfterFX and brought into Premier for final editing together. All looks fine until I bring my AfterFX comp into Premier. For the most part it looks good except for the fact that I keep on getting these green artifacts in my animation. They do not appear in my AfterFX comp or on the inidividual frames. I don't believe that this is a codec issue either as the artifacts can be seen within Premier before the final file is exported (although they also do appear on the final video file). See the attached jpeg. Does anyone know where these artifacts are coming from and what can be done about them? Thanks in advance! Fooch
Give this a shot Render your ae comps to tga sequences. Then edit w premiere.
erickdt
Thanks Fooch! I'll give that a try. I did try rendering out uncompressed AVIs from AE which have no artifacts when played on their own but then show the artifact once imported into Premier. Fooch
Strange.. I always keep it in frames .. just for safety
erickdt
So I finally got around to doing as you suggest and I'm still getting the same artifacts... I'm officially stumped. Any more suggestions? On a side note: Rendering out frames or uncompressed movie files and using those to edit within Premier renders way faster than importing AE comps.
