Alucobond
I have imported acad 2010 aec walls into max2009. I believe they were imported and derived by layers, blocks, split by material. NO matter what i do I can't separate the walls to apply different materials to them. I've changed layers, Broken links of parents, etc. When I apply a material to one wall they all get that material. how do I make each wall unique so I can apply different materials to them?? Thanks, Kevin
BrianKitts
apply an edit mesh modifier and either detach the faces for unique materials, or apply material ID's within the editable mesh and use a multi-sub object material.
