LaFrance
Hi Y'all, sorry if this has been asked: I am trying to kick off a series of renders of a scene splitting up fg, mg and bg with two different light setups, so, 6 renders in all. I have managed to get scene states and batch rendering to work... almost. I really need for each render to output render elems so I can tweak in comp/photoshop. Problem is, the render element names and paths are saved with the file, and the batch renderer will render all the elems dutifully per file, but then clobber the outputted elems with the same names for every render. anybody know if you can change the render elem names from the command line? then I could override the render elem names in the batch file. p.s. I could just save out different versions of the file that have the render elems set appropriately, but, this would be my brute-force, last-ditch strategy: hoping for something a little more elegant. thanks for any help Brian Edited June 10, 2011 by LaFrance
LaFrance
alright, nevermind! got it. didn't realize you can add all the render elems to the .exr file output for each entry in the batch render. thanks Brian
