here's something i've been working on the last week. since the design is still in progress (i'm waiting for my boss to get back from holidays), the work is far from being finished. at the end it should look more or less as it is now, but i need inputs to complete the house and put it in the proper context (somewhere near a lake). critics are more than welcome. thanks.

Looks like good progress so far...the design is nice. It'll be nice to see it with some context. Pragmatiically: is that a roof top deck? It looks like you used the same wood siding as decking material. If it is indeed a roof top deck you will need railing (in the US anyways). If it's not a deck, it needs to be a flat roof with some kind of roofing membrane (check out the roofing membrane Holl used on the now-closed Bellevue Art Museum - good photos in one issue of Architectural Record). Nice work.

nice design and great renders.

first image could have been better by moving the SUN a bit to right. currently the shadow and camera angle is more-or-less same and the interest is missing that the shadow would have put.

second image is showing bick-like texture on the elevation. is that siding or something else?

wish to see the finished images which i'm sure, would be far better.

first of all thanks for your comments.

it is a roof top deck, and yes, your're right, we do need railings also in italy. i just have to start working on it, the fact is i still don't know how it is supposed to look like. the work is still in progress, it lacks a lot of details.

that's true, it's something i will defenitely keep in mind for the final images. since i'm still working mainly on the model (both interior and exterior), i haven't decided camera and sun angle yet.
