himom
Hi All, Was wondering if anyone had recommendations on which antivirus software are the least taxing on system resources while still being highly effective. I've heard conflicting info regarding MacAfee. Have used F-Secure on and off over the years as part of our studio's 'benefit' of locating in a state funded technology incubator, however we're leaving the nest soon and need to make decisions on how to outfit our network. Our biggest concern is virus related - as our firewall and routers protect our machines from being seen on the outside. Any advice is welcome -- we don't like surfin' naked. Thanks in advance! Iain Denby
I use Norton, and find it great.
xgarcia
Norton takes up too much system resource. Try AVG - it's free and works great.
Crazy Homeless Guy
anything but norton. actually, i used norton, and it put it self everywhere. i started using macafee, and was happy with that, but learned AVG was just as good. so i switched to that. extremely light program that is highly effective, and yes, it is free.
