luthias42
Hi, I have this Chandelier in a diningroom that I need to make which is made of crystal. the problem I have is that I need it to reflect some "dancing light" on to the cieling and floor. Does anyone have any good ideas to acomblish this? Thanks
notamondayfan
you need to make sure you have a few things setup properly, mainly the material, lighting, and caustics.
John Dollus
photoshop with small brush setting. honestly, you could just paint the speckled lights several times over and get much better results than actually trying to get caustics to render into the base image and look pretty. jophus14
If it's a still image, you can put a light above the chandelier shining only on the ceiling with a projection map in it. This will break the light up and look somewhat real.
