The client loved the first go of the prelim, the perspective/3D model is what woo'd the client.

DeeSee
How did you export that into SketchUp from Revit? I mean, any particular export type, i.e. 3DS, DWG?
Kroke
I forgot to mention, within the 6 hours I said as "model time", that includes all interior work as well; dimensions, area plan, notes, etc, everything you'd need for an appriasal set of plans. Elevations & Floor plans with all notations/dims. I exported to .dwg Acad 2000 version. SketchUP I can't import newer than the 2000 .dwg's. I just turned on shadows and exported to .jpg. Revit in my opinion is the way for architectural drawings, having had to deal with Acad/Adt bs for far too long, longer than I want to remember! GaryR50
DeeSee, you can't import a 3DS in SketchUp; only export it. Import formats are DWG and DXF only. Gary
