David C. Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) I would adjust the marble floor texture quite a bit. The veins are way too big. I use Maya, so I don't know how that would be done in 3DS. The white spots are most likely due to lighting and the reflectivity of the wall material. Try decreasing the reflectivity of the wall material to "0" adjust the glossiness to .5 or less. You will have to play with it and run test renders. Again, I don't know what the equivalent would be in Max, these are settings I have used in Maya for painted wall material, and the walls rendered well enough for me. In regards to veins, I tried to set it to 0.1 but, that is not visible invisible in render output.. .. thank u so much.. i'll update the second one...
