I have it, I got it as part of the premium suite.

I have not used it yet.

I have played with it a lot, and looks great.

I work in max as you know, and I think if you are to believe the promos for revit it looks the business.

But saying that there is nothing in there I can not do with max.

Hi Philip, just wondered with Showcase 2012 if you have tried working with max files and/or vray materials compatible with this? thanks for posting Dan, this could be extremely useful!

The first time I got interested in this was when I was reading about Project Newport on the labs. I was hoping it would be similar to some of the other interactive products allowing real time/interactive presentations for Arch/Viz while also supporting Max materials other then just standard materials.

 

Can it save exe's ?

it does not take in max , fbx but why you would want that I do not know. it quadruplies the file size.

 

nor does it take in vray materials.
