branskyj
Hi all, sorry for the ignorance but I was wondering how to make a logo more apparent. I have an interior scene(room) where a metallic (chrome) logo is placed on the wall. I have some lights already in the scene and everything looks great (in terms of lights) with the exception of the logo- it's just too grey and it blends with the wall (which is also grey-ish). What kind of lights do people normally use in a situation like that? What parameters in the lights they leave on? Where do they position them? Thanks a million for any help and have a good day. archigem
I think ur problem lies in material of chrome. Just play with the highlight glossiness - make it around .5 or .6, and reflection gloss. around .95. Now the material will reflect the light braodly. I hope this will help you. branskyj
Thanks a lot, archigem. I will give that a try now. Hope it works. P.S. Just tried it and it sure helped a lot. I just wished I could improve it even further with some lighting. Anyway- thanks a lot, man. Edited July 7, 2011 by branskyj
