( from the acad lines or splines drawn in 3dsMax) For the roundins buildings, a little bit of polymodeling ( rough boxes) with the turbosmooth modifier should do the job. Claudio Branch Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I suggest that you use surface modeling techniques to divide and conquer this structure. Surface modeling is all about creating a spline cage that defines the primary shapes of your form. Edit Spline, CrossSection, Surface are the primary modifiers to be used and the order in which you attach splines is the key to successful modeling.
