archigem
Hi, I just purchased my new laptop with full HD. Now with the recommneded resolution (1920x1080), the text size in max becomes very small. The windows text is managed but how can we increase the text size in max? Is there is any way???? please help.
datacrasher
You can increase the text size as normal when you create it under parameters then you will see the size then you and increase the text and decrease it

I was talking about the interface text. Cause high resolution doesn't make any difference to the text object.
datacrasher
I dont think so unless it's your VGA card is set to the max if you go into your display in control panel and then display click on settings make sure the screen res is set to about trying changing it to 800X600 pix and your color is set to high see it this has any effect? but don't go it while max is open because i found out that max screws up when it open and you change the res Good luck
archigem
Thanks Tony, for ur help. But I am not such a novice in all these. :-) Cause if I've to run my sytem at 800x600, then there was no use of having full HD. I was looking for something (if I m missing something) like as we using the "large toolbar buttons" through the general setting. Right now I m running at something 1300x 730 (approx)..! But I appreciate ur help. Thank you.

amadoR
I've encountered the same problem when I moved to a stationary PC with a FullHD LCD screen. I run Windows 7 Home 64bit. Under Start -> Control Panel - Display - Change custom Text Size (DPI) [upper left corner in the new window] you can change the font size. Remember to update your GFX-card driver and run native screen resolution, that usually gives the best display performance.
