bgon
I downloaded from Vray Material website with extension .MAT Can not figure out how to apply this type of material. Heard about the vismat extension but nothing about this. Please help
matthewgriswold
.mat's are material libraries. In the material editor, select the get material button. In the new window, right-click and select open material library. Once open, navigate to .mat file and click OK. Double click material to load into editor for use. bgon
Matthew I can not find the GET MATERIAL BOTTOM. I am using VRAY for Sketch up.
Aaron2004
I don't believe that the .mat extension would work in sketchup, as it's a 3d max file format. If it is urgent, I would recomened downloading a trial of 3D Studio, opening the .mat file and copying the material settings into your sketchup material. matthewgriswold
Sorry, didn't know you were using SketchUp. I'll have to yield to others on this one...not familiar with Vray for Sketchup.
