Dmitry Kobtsev
This effect is done already in post-processing in a program such as Magic bulet This effect is called the Glow
klikus1984
thx for tip but i've found another way to achive this effect by duplicating layer in PS and changing mode to add linear dodge add then opacity + eraser.
Fooch
Mask that layer.. This way you can bring it back. Never erase --> just mask Plus play with color dodge as well. The edges simulate a glow better. Tweak the fill layer to control the strength.
Dan Norfolk
I think they call it 'light bloom', there are many ways to achieve this mostly in PS. The artist Bertrand benoit has a blog site, you can ask him. He's very responsive, I've asked him acouple of things and he replies. DTM
