it looks to me that the biped figure is too fat for the mesh so you need to get the biped to fit inside the mesh so you need to scale the biped down so the biped is not showing through the mesh so when that's all done then max should render it up correctly. there is a good tutorial on youtube on how to position the biped inside the mesh by video fx universe
