Stan Zaslavsky
Hi all, not quite an arch viz scene, but i've been asked to do a scene and showcase a book. Not exactly sure where to start - so was wondering - what's the best way to show it off? any tips would be welcome, cheers,
AubreyM
A scene containing elements from the book (and the book itself) would be a good start. What kind of a book is it? A few more details might help.
datacrasher
is this just a box model of a book or does it have pages if so you could always use the rigging (bones) then animate the pages opening one by one. Mmm i saw a tutorial on this but i cannot remember where i saw it Good Luck DC
Stan Zaslavsky
hi guys - thanks for your feedback. i got to the render of it - i used one area light and one ambient light and a curved surface behind the book. this was the result:
datacrasher
did you design the cover yourself? or did someone do it for you? If not then there mite be some copyright issues with it. I would lay the book on a wooden table upright with a box behind it and the shadows turned on DC
Stan Zaslavsky
we did the cover ourselves - so no probs about that ... interesting idea about a wooden table - i might give it a go and make it a more complete scene
