Jonathan
What is the best pracrise to create realistic, animated fog. After a few searches it is clear that the area is (pardon the pun) a little foggy. I certainly dont want to use Max to generate it and hoped something would come up regarding z-depth maps and AE yet so far nothing. Digieffects 'Atmosphere' seems only to use layers to create depth which is of little use. Thanks for reading...
Arnold Sher
Hi Jonathan, Over the years we've played with various options in Max but all of that is time consuming to render out specially cause all our animations these days are in HD which just adds to the pain. The easiest way to do it, for us that is, is to add that in post production. We do it in After Effects and find that user friendly and quick. That is my 2 cents worth...
