Brodie Geers
My keyboard shortcuts recently changed somehow. For example E will enter Extrude mode instead of Rotate and T will tessellate geometry instead of going to the Top View. I haven't purposely changed any shortcuts recently so there are only 2 things I can think of. Is there some keyboard shortcut I may have inadvertantly hit which toggles between 2 keyboard shortcut modes? Or could it be from installing service pack to on 3ds Max 2011 recently? How would I fix it? Assigning E to rotate didn't do anything and extrude and tessellate don't seem to have shortcuts assigned to them according to the UI manager. -Brodie
archigem
If u r working with the default shortcuts, and it's changed then go to "customize>customize user interface> load > default UI" It will reset the things as before. Enjoy
luthias42
I bet this only happens when your editing a mesh. if this is the case there is a shortcut toggle button in the toolbar. It's shaped like a keyboard button and depending on the version your working with might have a "T" on it. Hope this helps
