Brodie Geers
I'm trying to make a road texture which will show the typical lighter area where the tires wear on the road. It's going to have some curves and parking areas and what I'd like to do is create a path along the center and then stroke a path to create the lighter areas. I created a brush which is basically 2 splotches as some distance appart to represent the tires but if I stroke the path they stay vertical along the whole path rather than rotating around depending on the direction of the stroke. Hopefully the attached image can illustrate my problem. Is there a way to accomplish what I want with only one stroke? Or if I have to change to 2 strokes is there a way to offset a stroke instead of drawing them independently? -Brodie
Matt McDonald
Angle jitter under shape dynamics should do it.
Brodie Geers
Good call there's a dropdown there called Control which has a "Direction" option. That did the trick. Thanks! -Brodie
