Cesar R
I downloaded V1.5.00 Fryrender, and the Beta v1.6 as it works with 3dsmax 2012. I am following directions, however while in Fry and trying to load an .RCS file I keep getting an error which says "unable to load .RCS scene". I wonder what I am doing wrong? - Is there a FryRender V1.6.00 beta somewhere that I can try out? I am considering a purchase but I cannot get the thing to run... help please. Fran
Hi Cesar, Unfortunately, the max 2012 plugin is incompatible with the fryrender 1.5 demo because the .rcs scene file format has been revised for Arion 1.5 and fryrender 1.6. The new releases will support previous versions of max though. There will be an Arion demo released in the coming weeks. I'll post a notice as soon as it's available. Cesar R
Hi Fran, Thanks, I was hoping you'd see the message and come to the rescue. I guess I will have to install 2011 for the time being. Please post when the new arion can be tested.

Peter M. Gruhn
Just popped by Arion this evening on a lark and was all "woo, a demo. Finally they start to understand how to stay in the game." I filled out my form and clicked my button and... Win32 is coming soon. The icon was a link anyway, so I clicked it and... 404. I keep wanting to like their tech and their product and I keep thinking the people between the coders and the rest of the world are going to kill the company. Hope the Win32 Arion demo comes out before school starts.
Fran
Hi Peter, The download page lists the 32-bit Windows version as "coming soon". They will be releasing a new version of the demo in the coming days, and that will include the 32-bit version.
