Jonny English
Does anyone know what the maximum pixel dimension is that you can enter in the render output size field?
Devin Johnston
I can't remeber off the top of my head but it's easy to find out if you put in a high number like 9000x9000 you will quckley find out it wont render. Then just work you way down the numbers and you will see what you can render out of Max. I've also found that if you do need a higher resolution than Max seems willing to render out, you could always do a split scan line render which will give you much higher resolution. abicalho
The maximum number you can enter is 32768. But that doesn't mean you can render an image that large - it depends more on how much memory you have available than anything else. The Print Size Wizard will give you an estimate of the memory consumption of the image when saved in 32 bits. MAX renders in 64 bits per pixel, so it will need twice that amount of RAM to render the image. Alexander
