tcupp
I instruct a class on the Intro to Computers in Architecture for undergrad architecture students. The software that we cover in a 4.5 month timespan is Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and 3DS Max. So, a lot to cover in such little time. It is just a basic intro to get them started thinking about the process of using the software. I have taught the course for the past few years but am constantly revamping the projects to keep things fresh and interesting. With the great work on this forum, you must have had great teachers from the visualization side. So, I am looking for any great ideas for interesting projects to assign that you had/have as students in learning the software. In the past I have done individual projects for each software package as well as one project that ties it all together, both successful. Keep in mind that these are freshmen so the level of knowledge on both the software and basic building construction methods are just beginning. Thanks for the input or any ideas.
