isagreg
I always install Microsoft service packs and updates, but I remember there was a problem with Windows 2000 SP 4 and MAX files. Later Microsoft posted an update and the problem got fixed. So now I'm kind of confused. Should I install this SP2? Anybody tried WinXP SP2 with MAX? How is it? Thanks. Graham Nixon
XP SP2 causes problems with Autocad 2004. I would guess Max and Viz would also have probs because the issue is to do with how the firewall configures internt access. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884130&product=windowsxpsp2 I'm holding off installing SP2 until I can guarantee there will be no problems. About 1 year probably, lol. Graham
