JustinTuaylou
Hello, I've noticed this problem before but this is the worst so far, and I need to fix it soon. Sometimes when I have a bump or displacement map plugged into a material, certain faces show no bump/displacement and others show too much. I have attached an image of a exterior stone wall that is showing this problem. The material is mia_material_x (maya) with a Diffuse map, Bump map, and Displacement map. If anyone has any idea what is going on, please help. Thank you, Justin
Justin Hunt
it looks like it is displacing properly, but the lighting over-powering the shadows in some areas and adding more contrast to others. jhv
JustinTuaylou
Thanks for saying that, I think the light reflecting off of other surfaces around the stones were causing that.
