Hi everyone.

I'm Laércio from Brazil

First of all, sorry for english. I haven't used so much it at least 5 years now.

I'm looking for a advanced Vray trainning, and I found Stanislav Orekhov Trainning ( http://d-e-s-i-g-n.ru/ )

I was impressioned with his works, and I really excited to try the course.

But, before putting my money on it, I need to know if someone has already done this trainning.

Can I trust ?

Thanks

My company purchased it, and it ended up a waste of money. The guy struggled to speak english to the point where some of the training made no sense, and even having followed his instructions to the letter, our output was nothing like his and didnt get anywhere when he wasked about the discrepancy.

Maybe others have had a different experience but our place wasnt very happy with it at all.

Thanks Jock for your reply.

I have seen that you have a 3d company, and your models look good for me.

When you have begining the Stanislav course i guess that you alredy know 3d and Vray. In the course did not learn anything new?

Have you done both Interior and Exterior trainning?

I thought I did explain what I found wrong with it. what exactly are you after?

Yeah i already knew vray and max but the company thought it would be a good idea to basically increase the quality, the company i'm on about isnt the one in my sig though, thats my freelance business.

We only done the interior, but if im totally honest i didnt learn anything. The guys poor grasp of english meant we got nowhere when asking about some issues we were having.

But I would recomend you deffinately get more than just my opinion, because like most things out there, you'll get folk with bad and good experiences, it just depends what the majority are i suppose. We didnt have a good experience at all, but maybe others were different.

I havent done it myself but ive heard good things about evermotions training, you may want to cast your eye over that.

It has been a little difficult to find out some Stanislav's students.

I've put this question at least 2 more foruns and you are the only one that answered me.

But I found some students that Stanislav show in his site.

Only 2 report me back from e-mail. Both enjoyed the course, but they agree that Stanislav's english is not fluent.

One thing that I think weard, is that they only report my first e-mail. When I report back asking more information they doesn't report me back. Maybe they are very busy.

I have some evermotions videos, I liked a lot.

One thing that I really wanna learn is the Stanislav's grass and trees, and I didn't find any evermotion video teaching something like that.

with a little effort and Google... there are a lot of resources to be found. You just have to look. Even just going through CGA, there plenty of resources and links to edumicate yourself.

Also, I'd add that a lot of dedication is required. There's no magical formula. Making great CG (in general, not only arch viz) demands studying, practicing and a lot of trial & error. Even the Evermotion DVDs are useless if one is only seeking for short answers for generic questions (how do I make my model look pretty?).

Cheers!
