This is my very first post in the forum and I'm really excited to hear what you guys (and girls) think of this first WIP. I've blocked the house based on many pictures and mainly on a Google Sketch Up model (that was extremely helpful). Right now I'm substituting the proxy geo for the "final" geo and meanwhile changing textures, dirt maps and all that good stuff. This first render was only meant to compare to the actual photo reference and will not be used in the final video, witch will (hopefully) include a couple more rooms and the pool area outside. I also made a quick video for comparison. I could put it here but I already did that on my own website with more information on the project. http://abelvargas.com.br/?p=193 Right now I'm adding some variation to the tiles on the walls and ceilings with a very useful script to randomize vertex position. I'm really not a modeler and the more I do it, the less I want to So, all my respect to modelers out there! I love that you guys love it. Well, this is not supposed to be an essay, sorry about that. Thank you in advance! Abel

AubreyM
I think I like the floor texture the best. It looks good. Looking forward to seeing more of the house.
abel.vargas
Hello everyone! Just a quick update on this corridor scene. As it will be a time lapse, this is my night setup. It's a beatypass with color correction. It will be rendered in all passes but for now it's a look and feel of it. Comments? Thanks! abel.vargas
Thanks a lot for the reply Aubrey! Sometimes we're working for so long in an image that we have no idea how it looks anymore Edited September 7, 2011 by abel.vargas
