Scott Schroeder Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 More than likely you'll need to do it all in post. There is a glow option in 3ds Max, but it takes a long time to render it (at least if I remember correctly as I haven't used it in many moons). Take your base render, copy it, crunch the levels, add some blur and change the blending mode to screen or add, sometimes soft light even works. You'll spin yourself in circles if you try to achieve this effect in a render. Post work is your best friend. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
