Scott Schroeder Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 You can place your building in the photo, but you need to know three major things from the photograph. Height of the camera, lens of the camera (is it 35mm, 50mm?), and angle of the camera (is it level, pointed up, pointed down?). If you don't line up any one of those three, you life will be a nightmare trying to accurately line up your photograph to your model. You simply re-create that camera in 3ds max, or whatever software, and render out a shot of your building. You can either include the picture as a background in the render or simply put the render and the photograph together in Photoshop. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
