I have decent knowledge of 3ds max, v-ray, photoshop. How do I improve my exterior ? I need advise about renderring & lighting .There are some dark areas near window. So how do I do that ? pumbaa Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Hiya A few things I could think of: Silly suggestion, but have you tried brightening the color of the window frames if you do not like them being that dark..? Sun light looks a little bluish I like that you've put a texture on the walls, I often miss that in renders. However the scale looks a little off, I'd say scale it down some. An ambient occlusion pass could improve this render a lot. The garden looks really empty The background sky looks pretty boring The porch cylindrical pillars could perhaps be improved by adding some decoration details at the top/bottom I've attached a paintover adjusting a few things, maybe that can give you some ideas mate Godd luck!
