Description:

modeled a street from images of houses in Chauseestr. Berlin, where i used to live.

first id like to hear any suggestion and critics , second id like to ask when do you think i should stop? i mean i can add hundreds of more details, it seems endless.

is there a good mesure fore balancing an image wit regards to deatails amount or is it a matter of pure feel.

Tom

I'd also like to hear pro opinions on the balancing issue, interesting.

To improve this image you could try the following:

I suppose it is daytime, morning perhaps? If it is daylight the shadows should be sharper, now if it is morning light I'd color the sunlight more yellow. I believe the lighting is the main issue.

You could dirt up some of your textures, esp the asphalt needs a couple of dirt passes, bump map?

Add some brighter reflections of more preferably interior detail to the beige building, it looks sort of abandoned as is

Just my 2 cents, good luck Tom
