AubreyM
I'm not sure I understand the question, aside from using a animation preset in Vray the process for animation is the same regardless of the render engine. (unless you use a vray specific plugin) If you are asking how to animate a curtain look around the web as there are many tutorials on that very subject out there. YouTube has some. Two of the tools that you will use will be the cloth modifier and wind.

sanmb
Hi mohan, I do not understand what exactly you want to know? In render set up just hit active time segment and save file. Let me know if you do not understand,I will try to explain it in detail.

Thanks for your reply, Actually iam asking about vray rendering ie.for example iam rendering a living camera for 200 frames in that sequence i animated a curtain. normal sequence we will take prepass for every 25th frame .then we will load from file and then render 200 frames. but in this case animated curtain is giving blotchy and noisy kind of effects. this is my question how to render a animated curtain ? thnx in advance................ sanmb
Hi Mohan, nth frame should as tight as possible. Normally it is 5 to 10. Try this and even then u get blotchy spots then there is only way to render it without IR.
