Jonathan
Having just finished a Masters degree and in the process of setting up a business I had heard somewhere that intermediate licenses for 3ds max were available however I have not found any information on this. If anyone could clarify that would be great.
datacrasher
Once the student license is over then you'll need to buy the full version from an authorized dealer or from the autodesk website
Sketchrender
No sorry that is bs . You got to out and sell a kidney to buy the real thing. But the good news is you can survive on one kidney. Just don't drink too heavy . Best of luck with the new business. Phil

Flint
Autodesk are (or were a few months ago) offering a free copy of max for non commercial use if you have been made unemployed and used to work in the field. I think this may be what you are referring to.
