tonguey
I tried doing a search on this topic here and on other forums, but I couldn't find a similar precedent. I'm using Rhino + Vray for interior renderings, and I'm primarily using rectangular lights to light my scene. However, in the final output, I can see the edge of the rectangular light's effects. Oftentimes it's a slight change of color or hue on a straight wall. I've switched the invisible setting of the rectangular light on, but it still leaves traces of its physical presence.... Has anyone else encountered this problem? And how have you dealt with it? I'm sick of using clone stamp in photoshop to make my walls look even. AubreyM
The problem is there is no light emitted from the edge, only the front and back sides (if double sided is checked). If I have to use a Vray light inside a room and it or the afore mentioned effect is in camera view I will use a sphere or mesh instead. If I am not using any sunlight, like a night shot or a windowless room I will usually fit the light to the light fixture and bump up the rest with camera exposure and sometimes a vray ambient light. I almost never use a plane light floating in a room anymore for that reason.
