claire_bridger1
I'm using v-ray in 3ds max, i'm getting a weird specular on the reflective white surface underneath the glass. I've tried changing the antialiasing filter and switching off indirect illumination and nothing works. Can anyone help? Thanks
claire_bridger1
I've figured it out If anyone else has this problem...I for got to check 'affect shadows' in the refraction drop down of my glass texture.
ABK
Sorry, read this and meant to reply earlier. Strictly speaking it's not a specular problem - and yes, you need to click 'affect shadows' otherwise artifacts will occur. Are you new to studio max and vray? There's some pretty good beginners tutorials out there.
