Rendermedia
Hi all, I have a scene set up in Max 2011 using Vray and a Vray camera to render out short flythru sequences. As the render times are quite high in Vray I have opted to render out sequencial frames in max scanline with a default max material applied, just for preview purposes, the 4 sceonds a frame allows me to quickly turn around shots for clients to feedback on. My problem is that Max scanline is clearly rendering out the shot differently to how I am viewing the scene through the Vray camera in the max scene. To me it looks like the Max scanline is much closer in like its using a close up lens to what I can see in my viewport. I have never come across this before and I wanted to know is there a compatability issue between rendering in Max scanline with a Vray camera...? Many thanks in advance Mark
neil poppleton
Go back to Vray and use a simple material in the global overide material in the main settings, for speed.
