Does anyone know of a scource for Illustrator Symbol libraries? Free or for sale. Looking for plan view trees, shrbs, flowers site plan type stuff.

Have a look at the Integration and Application Networks Symbol Libraries. They contain many symbols of trees and plants.

 

The IAN symbol libraries contain over 1000 custom made symbols (in 28 categories) designed specifically for enhancing science communication skills for the graphically challenged. Diagrammatic representations of complex processes can be developed easily with minimal graphical skills. Our aim is to make them a standard resource for scientists, resource managers, community groups and environmentalists worldwide. They are currently being used in over 110 countries.

 

All the symbols are completely cost and royalty FREE

Hi All,

 

Just wanted to let you know that we have just updated the libraries. They now contain 1500+ (~500 additional) symbols in 32 libraries. They remain completely cost and royalty free for all users. We have also added an EPS version for users with Illustrator 9 or less. For more details, please visit our website at http://ian.umces.edu/symbols

The IAN Symbol Libraries (http://ian.umces.edu/symbols/) now include 2500 symbols in AI, SVG and PNG versions. A custom download builder lets you search/browse for just the symbols you want. There is also an online vector editor!
