JHalton
Hi guys, Long time no type. I hav'nt been on for friggin ages! Anyway, I am doing a lovely render of a house with bricks. From the front the bricks at the side really dont do it for me. Got any tips on how to improve it? The rendering quality. See attached image. Thanks in advance fellow 3D Guru's J

STRAT
looks like viz4. if you zoom the camera in real close and rerender do you get the same effect? are you sure that face is properly mapped?
catplusplus
i think you need to re-map your side wall
Juan Altieri
if you use a bump map and skyligth you need to set the material to advence ligthing override and down the value of indirect bump scale, if you use common ligths, try to use 2 different materials one without bump for the side wall Just try, i'm not sure if this is the problem, but i have it much times, i think the uvw map is correct
