mtutaj
Just wondering is anyone has had to deal with this situation. Solution would have to be pc/mac compatible. I will be discussing a project from 2 spots here in the US as well as Japan. so a minimum of 4 concurrent connections. Whiteboard, filesharing, and audio a must. Video and screen sharing are a plus. Thanks for Ideas and comments, Mike
Jeff Mottle
Discreet uses Microsoft Live Meeting/Placeware that seems to work pretty well. I've been in a few conference calls with this software. While they offer online audio, the meetings I was in were just the collaboration/file sharing part. The Audio was also controlled by them but was over standard phone lines. The whole process was pretty slick. You get an email invite for the time and place. You log into the meeting system and then call into their switchboard with your meeting code ID. They then forward your call into the conference call and the operator announces to the group that you have just entered the meeting. There is also an online seating chart so that you can see who else is in the meeting. http://office.microsoft.com/home/office.aspx?assetid=FX010909711033 https://main.placeware.com/ordering/buy_it/buy_it.cfm?promocode=2744
