berten
for a new project i need to render underground houses, check example, and i'd like to use a 360 degree photomerge as background. What's the best way to use this image? Or can i make a hdr image of it?
Jonathan
Bert, If the image is not already HDR then it is very unlikely that you will be able to make it one. If its a 360 jpg then you could you use it as a background image instanced to the environment map in exposure settings. It will need to be first placed in the material editor and set to environment and spherical.
berten
Thanx already to reply. Indeed it's a good idea to place it first in the material editor slot and than place it in the eviroment, so it won't look flat. greetings
