pailhead
The easiest way to achieve this is to do a simple loft... Loft will map this by default. Then you start charging 8-12 bucks an hour, and leave someone in the developed world homeless
nilesh1234
Frist of all u have to check the texture is seamless or not if it is u can use uvw map for that it will help u a lot
Peter M. Gruhn
Seamless texture won't solve the corner problem. You might be able to throw something together with a planar map oriented on the diagonal towards the corner but that will probably have ungly zigzagging and stretching. pailhead
... His original question was about the stairs. The stairs can be simply mapped, by modeling them with a loft. It doesnt even cause any mapping issues. The box on the other hand, is a completely different topological issue, and can't even be addressed with 3d properly. What Peter said is correct, but then you're going to go highlight the edge on the oposite corner and go "wtf, what's all this stretching". Other than painting the rocks in something like zbrush (not sure if bodypaint is still around) youll never be able to get this to map the way you want them. But yeah: u try uwv unwrap, that going to do u good w00t.
