rsl
Hi, I have a question regarding material texture and rendering it with Vray. The first image attached shows a sketchup view of perforated screen (I did a square with hollowed circle in the middle with photoshop and saved it as png to apply to sketchup). But when Vray renders it, the perforations disappear and become opaque white (second image). What should I do to keep the perforations in the render? Thank you!
Antan
Did you try to add a black/white opacity map? (Same texture, all black and white to tell Vray to show part of the texture invisible)
nivvu
Hi, Use this image in diffuse and make a black and white image(blackl content, let it remain black and perforated metal to white) and use that in Opacity map slot......
