litleboy
I have an acer laptop, for years I had no problems, now is freezes a lot, I installed speccy from pririform. I can see the temperature on Motherboard an Video card runing at 85 C and 95+ C all the time. Can't drop below 85C even with a gig fan on the side. I tried to lower the speed from the BIOS but there is no option. Any one know hoe can I lower the speed to see if I Can cool down the mother and video cards, Thks. AJLynn
If it just went from fine to way too hot all of a sudden, one likely culprit is a broken fan.
litleboy
Well, I guess it always has been hot, but no problems then, I can open the case and see how it look sin there.. maybe is just dirt. ... The correct term I'm looking is "undeclocking" any one knows a free software for winows. I cant underclock from the BIOS. THKS>
