parkdark
I dont know if the problem is software or hardware, but i cannot find a solution about this problem occurred in vray while im rendering my exterior scene. My rendering is burned...anyone can help me? Edited October 20, 2011 by parkdark
BrianKitts
my guess is an overbright (probably standard instead of vray material) perhaps has a self illumination turned up? turn on the vray log when you render and see if it gives you any warnings, it will name the material if that's what's causing your burn. Devin Johnston
Are you using any material with SSS?
parkdark
Im not using any material with SSS, but something that disturbing me is because when i render just some region then i dont have any problem, but when Im rendering the whole view this is happening to the render. I have checked vray log and it doesnt show any problem or warning.
BrianKitts
i would try a render with a white material override and see if it still happens, then you'll know if it's caused by a material or lights in the scene. what are you using for an environment setup? parkdark
im using VRAYsun and i fixed the problem. it caused by the lightcache settings Sample size(i experimented with lower values from 0.02 to 0.005 and it seems that those red color areas disappear). Now i have another problem my render looks to much blue... im using HSV exponential all the values 1.0 vray sun turbidity 3.0 ozone 0.
