It's for my portfolio. I don't need a realistic look, just one that looks nice. I was hoping someone could give me advice on my settings, particularly lighting. I used to have glass windows but it cut down on the light inside so I took them out.

By the way, I'm using FormZ.

Thanks a bunch,

hi

I use formz a lot, Can I ask why are you using alpha channel on the back ground.

I would use a sky Image and the same image as an enviromental map to get the reflections on the glass, but I would also but the glass back in, have you set up, one main light with transparent shadows, and not opaque, and use at least two or may be three support light (distant ones) and with no shadows and bring the output level to about 25 or 30.

keep your main light to 100 or maybe 110.

One other thing, for the future, get your hands on artlantis , that is being givem away this month with 3d world, For this type of work itis very handy.

And texturing is drag and drop, and the lighting is so easy.

It's good enough for what you need, for college.
